The Rossoneri obtained three important points on the opening day of the season, and now the Nerazzurri await…
Milan general manager Adriano Galliani was satisfied with his team’s performance during Saturday evening’s 2-1 away win at Siena in the first matchday of Serie A.
The win was a much-needed boost for the Rossoneri after a disappointing pre-season, where their only joy came against Juventus in the Berlusconi Trophy earlier in the week.
This led Galliani to be wary about the trip to Tuscany, but now he’s singing a decidedly brighter tune as Leonardo’s men prepare to face the almighty Inter.
“We knew that it was a difficult game,” declared the Rossoneri’s director to Milan Channel. “Siena attacked us throughout the game, but it went well.
“I saw a really extraordinary central defensive duo, made up of [Alessandro] Nesta and Thiago Silva, and Ronaldinho interpreted in the best way his forward role.
“Now there’s the derby, and with three points in our pockets it’s something completely different.”
