The tactician does not believe a valid prediction can be made for the match on Saturday evening…
The Milan derby comes early this campaign, on the second matchday of the Serie A season to be exact and coach Leonardo spoke about the upcoming event.
“The derby is a special game, whenever it arrives. Winning is always nice, but it is the result of many things,” he suggested to the Corriere dello Sport.
“You cannot make calculations, but certainly with the way we have started the season things are moving in a positive direction and this gives us a solid foundation for the entire championship.”
Earlier in the day, Inter coach Jose Mourinho gave a press conference, suggesting the Rossoneri were the bookmakers bet to win after their victory against Siena last weekend.
“Mourinho did not say that Milan was favoured, he said they are strong,” continued the former Brazilian international.
“It is a derby and anything is possible. Maybe Inter have more certainties, because they are coming from a winning era, but it’s difficult to make predictions.”
