The defender is reportedly suffering from a muscular strain and will be rested against Parma…
AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta is likely miss the clash against Parma on Saturday night after straining a flexor muscle on Wednesday night.
The Italian defender came off in the eighth minute against Napoli after complaining of pain.
La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports he is now set to miss the Parma clash as a precaution. The report suggests he felt a tightening of his flexor muscles during the game.
Although the injury is not thought to be serious, Nesta is expected to rest this weekend so he can be fresh for the game against Real Madrid in the Champions League next week. Leonardo is unlikely to risk his man with the European showdown in mind.
The good news is that Gennaro Gattuso has returned to full training with his team-mates following his recent injury troubles. Kakhaber Kaladze is set to keep his place in defence against the Gialloblu.
