The Rossoneri boss has faith in the goalscoring abilities of ‘The Hunter’…
AC Milan coach Leonardo has come out in defence of under-fire striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
The Dutchman has yet to score since joining the San Siro giants from Real Madrid this summer, but the tactician is certain that Huntelaar will start to hit the net sooner than later.
“Huntelaar? He’s very tranquil,” explained the Brazilian at a press conference, according to tuttomercatoweb.
“Goals are vital for a striker, and it’s normal having just arrived this year, that he is being judged. I am sure his time will come.”
Meanwhile, Leonardo will welcome Gennaro Gattuso back to the squad this weekend for the match against Parma.
“[Alessandro] Nesta is not called up, I hope to have him back for the match against Real Madrid. Gattuso, however, will be there. He has worked very well in recent days and is available.”
