Boateng and Amelia have both picked up minor knocks…
Milan players Kevin-Prince Boateng and Marco Amelia have suffered injuries at the club’s winter training camp in Dubai, according to Tuttosport.
The Ghana international midfielder injured his groin during training and has been ruled out until sometime after January 1. Upon arriving in Italy, he will immediately begin treatment in the hopes of recovering before Serie A restarts.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Amelia, who has played second fiddle to veteran Christian Abbiati this season, went to the hospital for tests after suffering a bruise to his left hand, but is expected to only miss a few days.
In contrast, striker Alexandre Pato is reportedly on schedule with his rehabilitation after missing nearly two months of action and should be available for the January 6 clash versus Cagliari.
