Galliani claims that Pato will remain with Milan…
Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has poured cold water on rumours suggesting that striker Alexandre Pato could be on his way out at the end of the season.
The Brazil international forward has been in good form this campaign but has struggled on occasions to partner Zlatan Ibrahimovic in attack effectively.
With Antonio Cassano and Robinho also in the team, Pato isn’t guaranteed a place in the starting line-up, and there have been whispers that this could led to the player’s departure from Milan.
However, Galliani has disclaimed reports claiming that Milan could be coaxed to sell the 21-year-old and told Sky Sport Italia, “The Brazilian is essential for Milan and will absolutely remain here.”
Spanish giants Real Madrid are said to be interested in the services of Pato.
