Real Madrid’s Midfielder Kaka: We Can Still Get Better

Real Madrid star Kaka claims Los Blancos are already looking beyond El Clasico in pursuit of success and improvement on all fronts.

Jose Mourinho’s side lock horns with Barcelona on Saturday, Madrid’s seven-point lead over the Catalans at the top of La Liga making for an even more enthralling clash.

Los Merengues have also qualified for the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League in fine fashion, but Kaka reckons form hasn’t earned the team bragging rights just yet.

“The team is already very good. However, I think that we can still get better and develop further. We are on the right track and have to continue our good work,” Kaka told AS.

The playmaker said the team was not putting too much emphasis on Saturday’s crunch clash with Barcelona at the Bernabeu, the first El Clasico of the season.

“We are thinking about the Clasico, but don’t really talk about it,” Kaka said.

“It will obviously be a special game, but it’s not the right time to talk about the game.”

“Others always give these games a lot of attention and make it very big. We let the others believe in the hype and don’t want to get involved.”
