Former legend wants to become Milan coach in the future…
Former Milan striker Patrick Kluivert has admitted that he would like to coach the Rossoneri at some point in the future.
Kluivert played for Milan between 1997 and 1998 before joining Barcelona, where he spent six highly successful years.
In 2004, the Dutchman called time on his Camp Nou career and headed for the English Premier League to sign for Newcastle United. He also went on to enjoy spells with Valencia, PSV Eindhoven and Lille before hanging up his boots in 2008.
The former Ajax youth teamer has not turned his back on the game however, and quickly got involved with coaching. Indeed, Kluivert was an assistant coach at Dutch side NEC in 2010 and now takes charge of Twente’s youngsters.
And the 35-year-old has high aspirations for where his coaching career might take him.
“I’d love to coach Milan in the future”, said Kluivert to Helden Magazine.
“But for now I think it’s too early for me to tackle this kind of adventure”, he added.
