Milan Star Zlatan Ibrahimovic Linked With Spanish Giants Real Madrid

Ibra to leave Milan in simmer?

Il Corriere dello Sport is today claiming that Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is eyeing a potential move to Real Madrid.

The Rome-based daily is suggesting that behind Ibra’s row with boss Massimiliano Allegri this week was a desire to change clubs.

The striker criticised the tactician after the 3-0 loss at Arsenal, claiming that he used him in the wrong position at the Emirates.

Although the Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport today claim that peace was made between Coach and star striker, the Corriere dello Sport takes an opposite view.

They claim that the 30-year-old wants to try a new experience and he would consider joining Real Madrid should Jose Mourinho stay in charge of the Spanish club.

Ibra worked well with Mourinho during a spell at Inter before the player opted to join Barcelona in the summer of 2009.

  1. The € 1.000.000 question is: Are they (Real Madrid) interested in him with CR7, Kaká, Benzema and Higuain on the roster?

I suppose is more likely the likes of Nuri Şahin and Lass Diarra, for example, playing for us next season.

    • Yeah.. Well I don’t think I have the exact answer to that question, but here’s another one. If they were able to be interested in Ronaldo, Benzema, Kaka, X. Alonso and later buy them few years ago, when they had Higuain, Raul, Guti, J. Garcia in the squad – why wouldn’t they be interested in other players? Or when they knew they could have lied on kaka’s back and they still bought Ozil and Di Maria..
I guess Sahin would prefer to return to Borussia, instead of having another bad episode at another bid European club.

      • They had a change of guard over there. Guti and Raul, for example, were a bit too old for them and they decided it was about time to invest in new players.

      • Well yeah. but the thing is they can’t seem to hold on to legends. You can’t build a senior team with 19 or 20 year olds.. and it’s such a shame to let all those veterans leave to play and end their careers in other clubs and not in the one they have been almost for 20 years.
