Adidas and Milan have released this banner where Nocerino, Boateng, Ambrosini, Ibrahimovic and Silva are wearing the new official Rossoneri home kit…
On 2 May, Adidas and Milan will present new Rossoneri kit, and I will update this post with pictures of third kit and details that now I can not highlight.
Milan will wear this kit on Wednesday during the home game against Atalanta and during the following matchday (5 May) when Rossoneri will face Inter in a black and blue San Siro.
Finally designers have come back on large stripes: personally I prefere these ons, except for the beloved centenario jersey.
Collar and Adidas stipes are still white, it seems they are fashion in these years. Must be noticed that the white collar makes the Italian flag with the green detail on the right and the red one on the left above the two red and three black stripes.
Thin white stripes between every red and black one are distinctive feature I don’t remember to have never seen on Milan jerseys.
At first sight, even if different, this shirt reminds of the 1999/2000 one, probably due to the similar large pattern and the red color prevalence.
Socks and shorts
Watching socks the only different detail that deseve to be notice is another italian flag that cuts these in half.
Shorts are really close to previous versions.
Nothing changed about colors: black red shirt, white shorts (with black and red Adidas stripes) and black socks.
Welcome to the second chapter of vintage shirts. I say second because last year we have had the first thanks to the 2011/12 away jersey.
I’m going to talk about what it’s likely to be the new away shirt, but there aren’t official sources about: I do hope that is the real one.
I’m loving how designers have leaved aside the neutral pure white shirt.
That’s a clear recall to the 92/93 one, with just some different details – the collar is red without thin stripes on the see, the red and black stripes on the sleeves are larger and the sponsor is white on the red-black chest pattern.
