Milan Eye Real Madrid’s Nuri Sahin Loan Reinforcement

Milan are close to beat the competition and secure a loan deal for Sahin…

Despite Turkish midfielder Nuri Sahin declaring his wish to remain at Real Madrid, his agent is understood to have met with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani.

Sahin’s representative Reza Fazeli arrived in Milan last night to meet up with Galliani, with the future of the midfielder believed to be firmly on the agenda.

The 2010-11 Bundesliga Player of the Year on Borussia Dortmund’s title-winning team, has also been linked with Italy’s top clubs, including Juventus and Inter, who were considered the favorites, but on Wednesday, Reza Fazeli, Sahin’s agent, was at Milanello to discuss the possibility of a loan move.

Sahin could be a potential addition, especially as the midfielder would surely welcome first team football next season.

Since joining Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund last year, the pass-master has struggled to get to grips with life at Los Blancos.

Indeed, the midfielder played only 10 times for Real Madrid in 2011-12, dealing with a knee injury and finding it difficult to adjust to life in Spain and find time in the lineup.
