Inter flop to be redeemed and stay at Milan…
Lively midfielder Sulley Muntari will be staying with Milan for a further two years, according to his agent.
The 27-year-old joined the Rossoneri on loan for the second half of the season from city rivals Inter in January, but with a Nerazzurri contract expiring at the end of June, was effectively auditioning for a permanent deal at Milan.
And the player’s representative is sure his client has done enough to earn two years with Massimiliano Allegri’s men.
“Muntari will stay at AC Milan for the next two seasons”, Federico Pastorello told Milan News.
“The new contract is a formality and there will be no problems”, he added.
“The player spoke with vice-president Adriano Galliani before the end of the season and was told then that everything was being taken care of.”
Muntari managed 17 appearances in Serie A last season, scoring three goals and providing two assists.
