Spanish Under-21 European champion is set to return at the San Siro…
Spanish defender Didac Vila is hoping he has the chance to make an impression with Milan during the next campaign.
The left-back initially joined the Rossoneri in January last year but was farmed out to Espanyol last summer, where he spent the 2011/12 season on loan.
“We’re waiting to sit down with Milan to evaluate the boy’s future,” agent Raul Jimenez Verdu told Milan News.
“Didac has just had an excellent season and was the most used outfield player in La Liga. He missed just one game and scored three goals.
“However, his relationship with Espanyol is now over.”
Vila may be recalled to San Siro given that he could slot nicely in at left-back given the departure of Gianluca Zambrotta.
“Didac would like to return to being a Milan player,” the representative added. “However, he knows of how tough it would be for him to find room in such an important team.”
