The experienced midfielder has once again stated his will to move to Milan…
Relegated Novara have confirmed that Milan and Genoa are showing transfer interest in Marco Rigoni. The 32-year-old was one of his side’s success stories in a difficult campaign for the Stadio Silvio Piola outfit. He’s now on the wish-list of a number of clubs.
“Yes, Milan and Genoa are interested,” Novara sporting director Cristiano Giaretta admitted to Sportitalia. “But that is only normal when you consider his stunning campaign with us. We’ll have to wait and see what happens. How much will he cost? About €2 million.”
In the meantime, the player himself has shown very strong willingness to wear Rossoneri’s jersey next term.
“Who wouldn’t like to wear Milan jersey and play alongside Ibrahimovic, as well. It would be a dream for me.”, said Rigoni to Leggio. “I had a conversation with [Milan’s CEO] Adriano Galliani on 13 May, the last day of our Seria A campaign.
“My love for the Devil was discovered three years ago. When I have free time – I often visit San Siro, especially on a Champions League night.”
Rigoni, who started his professional career at Juventus, scored 11 goals in 35 games for the Piedmont side this term.
