Reports suggest Milan duo has signed for PSG…
Milan is selling Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Brazilian midfielder Thiago Silva to ambitious Paris Saint-Germain, Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi was quoted as saying.
On Saturday, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola has finished a third day of negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain over a possible transfer from Milan.
After the Rossoneri accepted PSG’s reported €65 million bid for the striker and his teammate Thiago Silva, Ibra’s representative Raiola has been locked in talks in Paris with sporting director Leonardo.
“I have sold Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to PSG,” Berlusconi was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport’s website.
Negotiations were initially believed to have seen the two parties agree to a compromise between the €9million-a-season four-year deal offered and the €14 million wage the player wanted with a three-year offer of €13 million a year.
Silva’s agent revealed earlier today that he and the defender have yet to even begin their contract negotiations with the Ligue 1 outift, but reports believe that the PSG team doctor has left the club’s pre-season base to travel out to Brazil to hold the centre-back’s medical examination.
Milan has also sold Gennaro Gattuso, Filippo Inzaghi, Gianluca Zambrotta, Mark van Bommel and Maxi Lopez over the past weeks.
