Three-year bid-money deal in Paris as Swedish striker leaves Milan…
PSG are reported to have paid the Rossoneri around €20 million for the services of the striker.
“Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 30, has been transferred from AC Milan and signed a three-year deal in favour of Paris Saint-Germain,” PSG said on their website.
Ibrahimovic becomes the second Milan player in the space of a week to sign for the Ligue 1 side, following Brazilian defender Thiago Silva to the Parc de Princes. The striker will reportedly earn €14 million net a year.
Although the 30-year-old Sweden international is often seen as a mercurial talent, his record shows he is one of the most reliable goalscorers in Europe, having hit more than 20 goals in each of the last five seasons. That period includes spells at Inter, Barcelona and Milan and his capture indicates the growing power of PSG in the European transfer market.
Ibrahimovic will also link up with former Ajax, Inter and Barcelona team-mate Maxwell in Paris and the Brazilian full-back hailed the Swede as one of the best players in Europe ahead of his arrival.
THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU’VE DONE FOR MILAN THE PAST COUPLE YEARS, ZLATAN & GOOD LUCK!
