Italian midfielder and Brazilian striker desperate for Kaka to return…
Riccardo Montolivo would welcome Real Madrid midfielder Kaka with open arms if the Brazil international were to return to Milan this summer.
The 30-year-old has been continually linked with a return to the Rossoneri, and the former Fiorentina star feels the attacking midfielder is still capable of walking into any side in the world.
“Anybody would want to have Kaka in their team, he’s an exceptional player and I think he would be welcomed back,” Montolivo stated to Milan Channel.
Also, Milan forward Robinho says he would be ”very happy” to see his compatriot Kaka return to the San Siro.
Brazilian’s agent revealed last week that he was in talks with Milan about the possibility of returning to the club, and Robinho is desperatly hoping a deal can be reached.
”I would be very happy if Kaká returned to Milan,” the former Real Madrid forward told Marca. ”We are teammates with the national team and we could achieve a lot together, especially now that both of us want to get ready for the 2014 World Cup.”
In the meantime, Real Madrid’s captain and Kaka teammate Iker Casillas believes that his “buddy” deserves a better treatment by the Spanish champions. Spanish press claims that Casillas has told his Real Madrid team-mates to pull together in order to make Kaka feel more ”comfortable” at the club.
Despite the Brazilian star is believed to be negotiating a return to Milan, the Spanish goalkeeper believes every player at Real Madrid must make sure the 30-year-old is feeling happy at the club.
”What we need to do is help him out,” the Spain international said at a press conference. “We need to help so he knows he’s our companion, he’s our teammate. He’s a very important player and he’s playing at his level.
”Maybe what he’s going through is not comfortable. For us, he’s our category of player. Whatever the boss or the club decide, he’s a very important player for us. We hold him as a team-mate and a professional and as a positive for all of us. I’m wishing him the best.”
