The hat-trick hero has suffered another injury, but his appearance against Atalanta isn’t questioned…
Giampaolo Pazzini has added to Milan’s injury worries after he pulled up during Thursdays’ training session.
The striker was expected to start on Saturday evening against Atalanta, but suspended the session due to a problem with his right leg.
According to sources close to the Rossoneri camp, they are cautiously optimistic that he stopped training before the situation could deteriorate. However, it remains to be seen how he’ll respond to tests tomorrow and whether Milan coach Allegri will take the risk so close to Tuesday’s Champions League opener against Anderlecht.
Milan are already without Robinho, Pato, Riccardo Montolivo and Ignazio Abate.
The probable formation: Abbiati; De Sciglio, Bonera, Acerbi, Antonini; De Jong, Ambrosini, Nocerino; Boateng; Pazzini, El Shaarawy.
