THE END OF THE TUNNEL: Milan Grab First San Siro Win & Kaka Baggs Hat-Trick

Both Milan and their former jewel Kaka eventually see the end of the dark tunnel…

WHAT AN EVENING IT HAS BEEN, ONE HAS TO ADMIT!

Firstly, Milan finally manage to break the San Siro curse as striker El Shaarawy scores twice in Milan’s 2-0 win against Cagliari.

Stephan’s opener was the Rossoneri’s first goal at the San Siro this season and his classy second strike sealed a first victory in front of the home faithful.

Cagliari enjoyed dominant spells but were made to pay for Mauricio Pinilla’s profligacy, never really recovering from Daniele Conti’s dismissal for an altercation with Giampaolo Pazzini. Speaking of Pazzini, it is important to say that he has just made his 250th appearance in Serie A.

The guests had several opportunities to score but had captain Daniele Conti sent off in the 66th minute to hurt its chances. Eventually, substitute Massimo Ambrosini belied his 35 years to inject fresh life into Milan’s attack and the veteran midfielder played a crucial role in El Shaarawy’s second goal.

Apart from Italy and El Shaarawy, it was the 19-year-old’s idol who saw the light in Spain. Real Madrid defeated Millonarios de Bogota 8-0 in a specially arranged friendly the same evening, with hat-trick hero Kaka leading the scoring.

The Brazilian has yet to feature for Jose Mourinho’s team in an official match this season, but started in tonight’s Trofeo Bernabeu friendly to honor Real legend Alfredo Di Stefano.

The former Milan star led the scoring, netting a hat-trick against the Colombian League leaders. Jose Callejon and Alvaro Morata both scored twice in the game, whilst Karim Benzema also netted to complete the scoring.

Not only did he score a hat-trick, but grabbed couple of assists and the captain armband – which was a total pleasant surprise. He was substituted right after the successful penalty and has been awarded “Man of the Match”. Ricky is the first player in the Santiago Bernabeu trophy (1979-2012) to have scored a hat-trick.

Is there anything else Real Madrid coach Mourinho wants Kaka to do to play regularly?!

Congrats to Ricky, his entire family and regards to the ones who never gave up supporting and believing in him. Not to forget – congrats to Milan, Tassotti, El Shaarawy and all the Milan community! FORZA MILAN, FORZA KAKA!
