Milan are preparing a sensational swoop for the experienced tactician…
Milan’s CEO Galiani is expected in New York this weekend for talks with available tactician Pep Guardiola.
The Spaniard has been linked with the Diavolo job for the 2013-14 campaign and it seems the Rossoneri are serious about landing him. The Gazzetta dello Sport says Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has asked vice-president Adriano Galliani to go and speak with the former Barcelona boss, who is currently taking a year out in America.
Guardiola has already fielded offers from Russia and the Middle East, but for the moment is happy in the US as he winds down after an intense few years in charge of Barca.
Berlusconi is willing to wait until the summer for Guardiola, but Galliani will use his trip this weekend to make it clear that they want him.
Milan are currently bossed by Massimiliano Allegri, but he’s fighting to save his job after four defeats in the first seven League games of the campaign.
