Premier League target Igor Lichnovsky could be heading to Milan in January…
Chelsea transfer target Igor Lichnovsky is reportedly wanted by Milan, and the Serie A giants are now thought to be leading the chase for the Chilean youngster, according to talkSPORT.
Universidad’s Lichnovsky has been scouted extensively by the Champions League winners, as Roberto Di Matteo looks to the future of the Stamford Bridge side’s squad.
But the centre-back is now a transfer target for Milan, and the 18-year-old could move to the Italian club in January. Massimilliano Allegri’s side are currently experiencing a difficult season and that is the reason is he expected to be aggressive when the transfer window reopens next year.
Igor Lichnovsky is wanted by Bayer Leverkusen as well as Chelsea and Milan, but the Italians are thought to be in pole position for the Chilean youth international. Milan are believed to be ready to bid up to €7 million.
The Santiago-born defender can also operate at left-back, and has made one appearance for the Chile under-17 team.
