Milan hero is once again being linked with a swap deal…
British newspapers report that Manchester City want to exchange Mario Balotelli with Milan rising star Stephan El Shaarawy. The Sunday People has the claim, suggesting it would be the right way for the Rossoneri to bring avowed Milan supporter Balotelli home to San Siro.
However, “SuperMario” has repeatedly confirmed he wants to remain in the Premier League and City will think twice before releasing a player who cost €25 million in the summer of 2010. Even more importantly, El Shaarawy has rapidly become a fan favorite and is also a lifelong supporter of the Rossoneri.
“The Little Pharaoh” has costed a total €20 million from Genoa and only turned 20 last week, but is the current Serie A Top Striker with eight goals this season.
It is highly unlikely that Milan would part with their latest talent, especially after angering the fans by selling Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva and Antonio Cassano the summer.
