Pato may soon see a loan deal away from Milan…
Milan will reportedly consider loaning Alexandre Pato to another club in January, while the Brazilian will miss the Juventus game. Pato’s future is in some doubt after he issued a quit threat this week and his agent has confirmed that talks with Milan will take place on Tuesday.
“If he said certain things then he must have had his reasons,” Gilmar Veloz told TMW. “I want to get a better understanding of the situation with Milan.
Tuttosport suggests that a definite sale is unlikely to happen in January because Pato’s asking price has dropped drastically given his recent injury problems. However, a loan is possible with a number of Brazilian sides ready to give him the chance to re-find some form.
It is no secret that the Italian side have their eyes on former Inter troubled striker Mario Balotelli, and they will be looking to replace the 23-year-old Brazilian ace should he go off to Brazil on a loan deal.
Other than Balotelli, there is also Milan former youngster Alessandro Matri, who is likely to quit Juventus after Christmas break.
