Dutch star is heading towards Inter exit and could move to city rivals Milan…
Inter want Wesley Sneijder to adjust his weekly salary it has been claimed they won’t play him until he agrees to a pay-cut. This has unsettled the Holland international, who seems destined to leave Inter sooner rather than later.
Manchester United have a long-standing interest in Sneijder and negotiated a move with Inter back in 2011. It fell through, though, when the midfielder demanded too much money from United.
Now rivals Inter tied the 28-year-old to a five-year deal two years ago but the club want to cut costs – with Sneijder their top earner.
As La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, an incredible switch to bitter rivals Milan is now in the pipeline, with the Rossoneri ready to make a move. The San Siro side believe the presence of Nigel De Jong, who is a close friend of Sneijder, would tempt the former Real Madrid man to join.
