Former flop wants a return call…
Saint Etienne’s striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang would be willing to return to Milan, amid club claims that he is staying put.
“I would like Milan to give me a second chance. I will do my best to play well this time”, he said in an interview for La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Five years ago, I was rising as a football player in Milan’s Primavera team. It was really difficult to find space because I was just too young the time. I don’t regret it, though.
“Milan helped me mature and become the player I am now, for what I’m thankful.”
The explosive Gabon international has scored 8 goals so far this season, half of the total goal score he finished with last season.
English sides Aston Villa and Newcastle are also said to be interested in signing the 23-year-old.
