Back on track for the Argentinian long-time target…
Milan have asked Brussels giants Anderlecht about the availability of midfielder Lucas Biglia, according to Belgian national broadcaster RTBF.
The Rossoneri are looking to add to their midfield in next month’s transfer window after losing Nigel de Jong to injury. The tough-tackling Dutchman has been ruled out for up to six months after injuring his Achilles and Milan are now looking to fill the hole his absence will create.
Biglia is ready to leave Anderlecht and the Belgian side have slapped an asking price of €8 million on his head.
The Argentine pass-master has admitted he is looking to move to once of Europe’s biggest leagues – and Serie A would surely fit the bill.
Milan were impressed with Biglia during the two matches Anderlecht played against the Rossoneri during the Champions League group stage.
However, it is not clear whether Milan will be prepared to meet Anderlecht’s asking price for the Argentine as the 26-year-old is under contract at the Belgian giant until 2015.
