Robinho’s replacement has been found…
Pescara midfielder Vladimir Weiss is the latest player linked with Milan. In fact, Calciomercato reports that he has already reached an agreement with the Italian giant for a January move.
Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani has reportedly tabled a €3 million bid for the former Manchester City flop during the meeting with Pecara’s director Delli Carri earlier today. The Biancazzurri haven’t answered Galliani yet, but will have to speed up knowing that Weiss is only tied to the club until 30 June 2013.
Abruzzoindipendent.it has confirmed that super-agent Mino Raiola has started the negotiations, adding that the Abruzzo-based side will not remain empty-handed after selling one of their most precious jewel to the Rossoneri. It has been rumored that either one of Adria Carmona Perez or Bakaye Traore will be part of the deal, moving into co-ownership.
After the 4-1 birthday present at the San Siro today, Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri confirmed that Robinho has asked to leave the club. This only adds fuel to the Weiss speculation, as he is considered to be Robinho’s successor at Milan.
“Robinho has told us he wants to go home to Brazil,”Football Italia quotes Allegri as saying. “In addition, Vladimir Weiss is a good player.”
The 23-year-old Slovakian ace has scored three times and assisted twice so far this term.
