Chelsea legend could make a move to Milan…
Milan have joined Juventus in the chase to sign Didier Drogba during the January transfer window, reports suggest.
The Italian giant are known to be keen on landing the former Chelsea man in the New Year to aid their Champions League bid.
Milan are reportedly interested in signing the 34-year-old because Brazilian duo Pato and Robinho are likely to leave the Rossoneri during the January transfer window.
Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani has reportedly even made contact with Didier Drogba’s camp. Sky Sport Italia says Galliani sounded out Drogba’s representatives about the prospect of a move away from Shanghai Shenhua.
The Ivorian captain is currently training with former side Chelsea in preparation for Ivory Coast’s African Nations Cup campaign.
19:00 CET Update: Milan’s president Silvio Berlusconi has reportedly offered the 34-year-old a contract through the player’s representatives but wants an answer quickly. Didier Drogba has 15 days to decide whether to join Milan.
