Milan In Talks With Roma Over Amelia-Stekelenburg Exchange & Steaua’s Vlad Chiriches To Arrive

It seems that Milan will be pretty active when the transfer windows opens…

You have heard it all  before in here, that Milan have reached an agreement with Steaua’s and Romanian defender Vlad Chiriches. The story has now been confirmed by the Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport.

His representative Victor Becali revealed that Milan have been following Chiriches for a long period of time, but denied the rumors that they are negotiating a deal for the 23-year-old centre-back.

“I’m aware of the fact that Milan’s officials have been present on few Steaua fixtures to scout Chiriches.

“However, nobody has ever contacted me regarding Vlad. I suppose the talks will open soon after New Year, when the transfer windows re-opens”, he told

Despite agent’s denial, first Calciomercato and now Tuttosport, claim that Chriches’ will certainly join Milan in January.

Another thing is the possible goalkeepers Ameila-Stekelenburg swap deal between Roma and Milan. Tuttosport also reveals that the Milanese giant has opened talks with the club that trashed them on Saturday.

If it is to be believed TMW, Milan’s coach Massimiliano Allegri has asked CEO Adriano Galliani to get enquirers about Roma goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg’s availability. It seems that Galliani is set to make a move on the 30-year-old goalkeeper, willing to offer Marco Amelia in exchange.

    • I completely agree. As much as I want Balo to arrive, I don’t think that this is a good time for that.
First of all, he wouldn’t be able to feature in Champions League. Drogba can, plus he’s got few more years until the end of his career. Balo has got a plenty of time.. he can wait.
Anyway, thanks for sharing your opinion, Benjamin and Happy Holidays 🙂
