Santon, Astori, Bergessio & Destro Agents In Milan Headquarters

Major agents have been spotted at Via Turati today…

According to Sky Sports, Davide Astori’s, Davide Santon’s and Mattia Destro’s agent Claudio Vigorelli has been holding talks with Milan’s DS Ariedo Braida earlier today.

Milan have not given up in their attempts to lure Newcastle United defender Davide Santon back to Serie A, neither attempting to lure the former Genoa striker despite having the previous bid declined by fellow outfit Roma. The Milanese giants have also been paired with their former youngster, Cagliari’s Davide Astori.

Gonzalo Bergessio’s agent Julio Tymczyszyn was also present at the meeting, automatically linking the Argentinian striker with Milan.

Another target is Ricardo Centurion, who is expected to get Italian citizenship very soon, so Milan could sign him in the January transfer window. His agent, Alejandro Mazzoni has had a lunch with Braida today at the famous restaurant Giannino.

SportMediaset reports that another well-known Federico Pastorello had joined the meeting. The same source claims that Catania’s highly-regarded midfielder Francesco Lodi has handed in a transfer request to the Rossazzurri, as Milan are reportedly set to offer €5 million for his services.

Enough for the possible arrivals, though. Here we have a departure-likely statement by Urby Emanuelson’s agent.  “Urby is not happy,” Brian Berkleef told “But that goes for all players when they are not playing.”

After failing in several attempts to lure Inter’s AWOL star Wesely Sneijder, Turkish giant Fenerbahce have now set their eyes on the Dutch midfielder.
