Acerbi the sacrifice to keep Constant…
Milan have announced that Francesco Acerbi has been sold back to Genoa in exchange for the co-ownership of Guinea international Kevin Constant.
Both players moved to San Siro over the summer, though defender Acerbi was in a co-ownership deal and Constant on loan with option to buy for €8 million.
La Gazzetta dello Sport says that a lengthy meeting between Genoa president Enrico Preziosi and Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani on Friday helped finalize the deal.
The official Milan website confirmed that the 24-year-old central defender will return to the Grifoni with a value of €4 million, covering the payment for half of Constant’s contract.
