Milan have announced on Tuesday that an agreement has been reached with Manchester City to sign Italy striker Mario Balotelli from the English champions.

“An agreement has been reached with Manchester City, Balotelli will have a medical tomorrow and then sign for Milan”, Milan director Umberto Gandini told The Associated Press.

Italian media reported that Balotelli would sign a 4 and a half year deal with Milan through 2017, bringing an end to turbulent couple of years in English football. Milan will reportedly pay €20 million plus bonuses for the Italian striker, who will be taking a pay cut to move to the club he has supported since childhood.

Although the news pages of Milan’s website made no comment on the move, the club’s online shop has already started selling shirts with Balotelli’s name on. Sky‘s Di Marzio reports that Balotelli has chosen not to wear No. 9 on the back of the jersey, but instead eternal No. 45.

Also, Dutch midfielder Urby Emanuelson is reportedly on the verge of completing a loan move to Fulham.

Gianluca Di Marzio has also reported that Emanuelson is already en route to London where he will undergo a medical and sign the contract. However, Milan are only prepared to release the 27-year-old on loan with no option to make it a permanent move.

The Holland international will have Fulham medical checks tomorrow.
