Ricky has started the game and played spectacularly…
But first of all, feel free to download my e-book “The footsteps of a Legend – Ricardo Kaka” and find out all there is to know about this magnificent player, including stories and statements which have never been revealed before.
Brazilian midfielder Kaka was included in Real Madrid’s starting line-up against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday as coach Jose Mourinho was without six first team players.
The 30-year-old was part of the action that saw the Santiago Bernabeu side lead 1-0 and despite not scoring, he continued to contribute equally in defense and offense.
“I am pleased with the win and with the fact that this was the second match in a row that the crowd gave us a standing ovation. It looks like our training and effort are producing results.
“I will keep on battling and I believe I can help and contribute a lot to the team; whenever I get the chance I will demonstrate that. Things are working out for me, little by little.”
“I’d really like to play in those matches and make my contribution to the team.”
In late January, Kaka was on the verge of returning to Milan, but the move unfortunately broke down.
“It is a fact that I was ready to reach a solution which would be good for both myself and the club. Eventually, I got an option that was satisfying for me but not for the club, so as a result – we didn’t reach any agreement.
“It is a good thing for me and a bad thing at the same time. I’m staying here and I will see the entire out with Real Madrid.”
