The Brazilian star has spoken of his former side…
But first of all, feel free to download my e-book “The footsteps of a Legend – Ricardo Kaka” and find out all there is to know about this magnificent player, including stories and statements which have never been revealed before. In addition, I hope that you won’t mind taking a look at Kaka’s PES 6/13 face tutorial!
Real Madrid’s midfielder Kaka has hailed his former club’s display against Barcelona last week as “magnificent” ahead of the second leg in just under two weeks.
The Champions League and World Cup winner currently plays for their hated rivals Real Madrid and was happy to discuss the Rossoneri’s 2-0 victory which was achieved via Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari goals.
“Milan were magnificent against Barcelona and played really well, the tactical discipline they showed in the game was great,” said the 30-year-old. “I was happy for their win.”
His own side have work to do if they are to progress to the next round as they take on Manchester United at the Old Trafford, a place where he starred for the Rossoneri by scoring twice in a 3-2 loss there in the 2007 Champions League semi-final before they went on to reach the showpiece with a 3-0 win at home.
He remembers that game fondly, saying: “It is with great joy that I remember that game and then at the end of that year we went on to win the Champions League. This is something that I hope can be repeated this year with Real Madrid.”
Kaka has also admitted that he doesn’t want to be a burden at the Madrid giants, and would depart if they felt it necessary.
“I have two more years on my contract,” he told AS. “But I do not want to be a burden. If I have to go away for the good of the club – I will.
“I want to play more for Real Madrid, but I understand the situation. There are other strong players here.”
