Milan will try to pass through Barcelona without in-form Pazzini…
Key duo Phillipe Mexes and Kevin-Prince Boateng have shrugged off injury complaints to make Milan’s 22-man squad for Tuesday’s Champions League decider against Barcelona.
Mexes was substituted after 45 minutes of last Friday’s 2-0 win at Genoa as a precaution, but has made the squad that travels to the Camp Nou. Boateng was left out altogether against Geona due to fitness concerns but has been named by Massimiliano Allegri for the second leg of Milan’s last-16 tie.
The Rossoneri will be without in-form striker Giampaolo Pazzini after the striker suffered a micro-fracture to his fibula against Genoa.
Mario Balotelli is ineligible in Europe, leaving Stephan El Shaarawy as the sole candidate to lead the line in Spain.
Milan squad for Barcelona: Abbiati, Amelia, Gabriel, Abate, Antonini, Bonera, De Sciglio, Mexes, Yepes, Zapata, Ambrosini, Boateng, Constant, Flamini, Montolivo, Muntari, Nocerino, Traore, Bojan, El Shaarawy, Niang, Robinho.
