Milan Enter Bidding War For Vasco Defender Dede

The Brazilian in Serie A side negotiations…

Milan have opened talks with Vasco da Gama for defender Dede.

The 24-year-old is widely regarded as the best centre-back in Brazil and Vasco’s boss Paulo Autuori has admitted he will be leaving the Rio-based club at the end of the season.

Now Sportmediaset has revealed Milan kicked off negotiations on 10 March to lure Dede to Italy in the summer.

Premier League giants Chelsea have stepped in with a bid of €10 million for the Brazil international, which has only forced Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani to make a counter offer of €12 million.

The San Siro side have a long standing link with Dede as they see him as the replacement for Thiago Silva, who only joined Paris Saint-Germain last year.

  1. I suppose this is not going to happen. They’re asking an absurd price for the player and we need a defender who can play in the left flank of the pitch (Mexés, Zapata, Salamon, Zaccardo and Bonera prefer the right). In my modest oppinion this a mind game among Galliani&Cairo (Torino supremo).
Galliani wants Ogbonna but Cairo is asking too much. But let’s wait a bit more.

    • Vast sources have already claimed to be a done business. What you said makes sense, though. Torino are safe for now which makes it easier to put pressure on Milan. There might be something in the summer, but we well see 🙂
