Indi or Strootman for Emanuelson – why not?
Milan midfielder Urby Emanuelson may prove to be nothing more than a bargaining chip for the Serie A giants this summer as they ponder sending him home in exchange for one of Holland’s most promising players.
According to Calciomercato, the Rossoneri are looking to bolster their squad with the signing of either Feyenoord defender Bruno Martins Indi or PSV midfielder Kevin Strootman. Both talents are highly rated.
Martins Indi has been Feyenoord’s core defender all season, with the 21-year-old appearing in 36 matches in all competitions, missing only two games throughout the campaign. Meanwhile, Strootman has a similar appearance record, but has yielded more goals for PSV.
This season, the midfielder has clocked up a total eight goals and 11 assists for the club in all competitions. He has been linked with a number of clubs, including Arsenal and Manchester United.
However, it seems that Milan are ready to move to sign either Martins Indi or Strootman, with Emanuelson offered in part-exchange to smooth the deal.
