Wealthy outfit, Monaco are interested in signing Milan’s defender Philippe Mexes, reports in Italy have suggested.
MilanNews.it claims that Les Rouge et Blanc have got a maxi-bid up in their sleeves and have already tabled it in – a reported five-year contract with a salary of €4 million per season.
However, it is highly unlikely that the 31-year-old French veteran could leave Milan, as no direct approach has been made.
The Stade Louis II club are believed to be on the spectacular verge of securing Radamel Falcao’s signature. In addition, rumors has it that Manchester City aces Carlos Tevez and Samir Nasri could follow his footsteps.
In the meantime, Mexes is set to make his 25th Serie A appearance for the Italian giant against Siena on Sunday.
