Another Genoa business on sight?
Milan have contacted Genoa over the availability of Ghana midfielder Isaac Cofie, according to GhanaSoccerNet.
The 21-year-old who is co-owned by Genoa and Chievo Verona has excelled this season in Serie A.
Genoa have been in talks with Chievo in their bid to take full ownership of the Ghana international. Both teams have however failed to reach an agreement over a deal. Milan’s inquiry comes as a third party as Genoa and Chievo remain deadlocked in negotiations over the future of Cofie.
A move to Milan is not immediately on the cards until the full ownership of is secured. He could become the third Ghanaian to join the Rossoneri if a move goes through.
He is expected to follow compatriots Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari.
