The updated version of “Mister X” hoax or this summer’s “bombshell”?
Sportitalia have shockingly revealed that Lyon have started negotiations with Milan over the potential sale of Croatian defender Dejan Lovren.
The 23-year-old is tied to Lyon until 2016, but that apparently hasn’t stopped Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani from initiating prime contracts with the French side.
Lovren, who recently posted something what looked like a farewell photo on the Social Media, joined the club from Dinamo Zagreb back in 2010. In addition, he clocked up 23 appearances in all competitions for the Stade de Gerland roster this season, netting twice.
Also, Sky‘s journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims that Galliani has already met Torino’s officials. In conclusion to the meeting, it seems that Milan have given up on defender Angelo Ogbonna, who is on the verge of joining Juventus, and winger Alessio Cerci.
The Rossoneri boss Massimiliano Allegri has been ordered to swap current 4-3-3 formation with 4-3-1-2. As a result, the former Fiorentina ace will not be needed.
As far as the offensive line is concerned, what are Milan going to do from now on is focus on bringing Parma’s striker Ishak Belfodil at the San Siro.
