The Slovakian to wear the Red and Black jersey next term…
According to TMW, Serie A sides Milan and Genoa have reached an agreement over Juraj Kucka’s switch at the San Siro.
Kucka, who made his Genoa debut in 2011, has been key to the club’s survival following a roller-coaster ride that took them through the danger zone several times. However, the Rossoblu will now have to fight on their own, as they seem to have finally pulled off any hope of keeping the Slovakian midfielder in their roster.
Milan’s CEO Adriano Galliani and Genoa’s president Enrico Preziosi have set up a meeting tomorrow morning so as to finalize the details over the agreed deal, which will see Primavera prodigy Andrea Petagna move to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris side on co-ownership.
This is supposed to be the second midfielder signing for the Diavolo, as they have already secured the signature of Andrea Poli from Sampdoria. Poland international Bartosz Salamon and Ascoli’s loanee Marco Ezio Fossati have also been included in the deal, as they are expected to feature for the former Serie B side on co-ownership.
The 26-year-old Slovakia international made 32 appearances for Genoa in Serie A this season, scoring three goals and providing another three assists.
Anyway, if you were wondering why is Milan interested in luring Kucka in particular – the answer is below!
