Boateng & Antonini To Feature In Van Bommel’s Farewell Match

Milan duo will appear in career closing game…

Kevin-Prince Boateng and Luca Antonini have been invited to play in Mark van Bommel’s farewell match, PSV have revealed on their official website.

Hasan Salihamidzic and Hamit Altintop are set to miss out on the game due to recently picked-up injuries, as the Milan duo, who is tipped to leave the club, are seen as the perfect replacements.

Vast other stars have been included in the list, such as: Vogel, Kezman, Van Bronckhorst, Stam, Makaay, Robben, Ibrahimovic, Van der Wiel, Alex, Sneijder, Kuyt…

Van Bommel joined Milan in January 2011 and signed a one-year extension to his deal, to finally return to PSV in summer 2012 on a Bosman deal. With tears in his eyes, the former Holland captain said he is leaving so as to respect the wishes of his family.

He previously spent seven seasons in Einhoven during his first spell. Referring to Milan as “like a family” he once stated that he would like to coach the Serie A side in the future.

The Dutch veteran decided to hang up his boots in May, at the age of 36.

    • No no, you are not being impolite at all. It is completely ok 🙂
I have to admit I’ve been pretty off this month, but no matter what, whenever I get to find free time I’m on the faces. They should all probably be completed this time next week 🙂
I apologize for the inactivity and and the fact that you have to you wait.
