Fiorentina midfielder Adem Ljajic has chosen Milan over possibility of joining English Premier League outfit Tottenham, according to Sky Italia.
The 21-year-old, who has been talking to Fiorentina about his future, has already found an agreement with Milan and has his heart set on moving to the Rossoneri.
The Serie A giants have reportedly offered him a five-year contract on a salary in excess of €2 million per year.
It is now all up to La Viola, who are expected to step up the talks over agreeing a fee for the sale of the youngster.
Ljajic joined Fiorentina in 2010 from Serbian giants Partizan.
In the meantime, new Senegal international M’baye Niang seems destined to move to Genoa on loan so as to get more experience and playing time.Rossoblu’s president Enrico Preziosi confirmed the interest in the Milan striker and the deal could easily go through with midfielder Juraj Kucka moving at the San Siro.
Considering that the two clubs have done a lot of business in the last few years, the swap deal could come to fruition in the coming weeks.
