BREAKING NEWS: Milan Loan M’Baye Niang To Montpellier

The youngster had been struggling for playing time…

Milan’s striker M’Baye Niang is set to return to France after being away from his homeland for about 16 months.

According to Sky, the two sides have already reached an agreement which would see the 19-year-old go on another French spell until the end of the season, with an option to make the deal permanent.

Monday is the day when he is expected to arrive in Montpellier and sign a deal with the 2012 Ligue 1 champions.

The summer arrival of Alessandro Matri has further limited the forward’s chances at the Rossoneri, with Mario Balotelli and Stephan El Shaarawy also ahead of Caen’s former man in Massimiliano Allegri’s pecking order.

Niang, who has vast boasting tricks, a great cross and outstanding pace on his disposal, has so far made eight appearances for Milan, but only one start.
