LA Galaxy Star David Beckham Makes Milan Veteran Clarence Seedorf Call

Former Milan star Beckham calls Seedorf to join him in USA…

Milan veteran Clarence Seedorf is being paired with a possible move to LA Galaxy – at the request of David Beckham.

According Football Italia, the Englishman is trying to convince the 35-year-old to move to America once his contract expires in the summer.

Beckham and Seedorf were teammates in Milan during the former England international’s two loan spells at San Siro.

Seedorf, now 35, has scored three goals in 23 appearances for the Diavoloacross all competitions this season.

Milan won’t consider offering the Dutchman a new deal until this season has come to a conclusion.

The former Ajax, Sampdoria and Real Madrid man has been at Milanello since his 2002 switch from city rivals Inter.

  1. Roma, Nesta, Yepes, Zambrotta, Ambro, Seedorf and Inzaghi probably won’t return for next season. And I suppose some players with contract (Bonera, Antonini) will leave as well.

    • In my opinion, Mian need to extend only Nesta’s and Yepes’s contracts for one more year and that it is. It’s not that I want to see them next season in the squad, but I think they deserve to be there. If we consider how many times Nesta ended up as a winner in duel with opposite layers or Yepes’s goal that brought us the 4-3 turnover against Lecce.
They might stay in my opinion, but they will still be used as a back-up subs.
They others (Roma, Bonera, Antonini, Zambrotta, Ambrosini, Seedorf, Gattuso, Inzaghi) are allowed to leave 🙂

  2. Apparently we’re going to have many new defenders for next season. At least if you consider the rumors. Boulahrouz, Natali and Astori will be Milan players.

And I must say that I expect something like that. About four new defenders, two/three new midfielders and Tévez. My biggest concern is about the player Galliani will hire to replace Seedorf.

    • Right. Well after it became known that Milan have agreed a deal with Astori, I suppose Nesta will now certainly leave.
Boularouz will be a sub for Mesbah and Abate, as Bonera & Antonini/Zambrotta are set to leave.
      Ah Sedorf… perhaps Snejider… ?
According to the latest rumors, it is very possible, even though Gallaini ruled it out.
