The Georgian defender believes it’s too early to make trophy predictions…

AC Milan defender Kakhaber Kaladze believes it’s premature to speak about seasonal objectives as he focuses on Sunday’s clash against Cagliari.

The Rossoneri are beginning to apply the pressure on Inter and Juventus domestically. Their European adventure is also taking shape.

However, the Georgian defender has stressed the importance of keeping expectations tempered.

“In terms of how we started the season, it was very difficult to think about where we could finish this season in terms of the top four places or the Scudetto even,” Kaladze told Milan Channel.

“However, looking at the table, you can see we have improved plenty, but it’s still early to speak about the Scudetto, Champions League or other objectives. We are showing that we are alive, and this is important.”

Milan clash with Cagliari this weekend, and Kaladze believes it will warm them up for the home match against Marseille in the Champions League.

“Now we are thinking about the game on Sunday. Then after Cagliari we have another important match against Marseille,” concluded the defender.
