Rodney Strasser & M’baye Niang To Start Against Torino?

Duo might get a chance to play on Saturday…

According to Sky Sport 24, Sierra Leonean midfielder Rodney Strasser and French youngster M’baye Niang may get a starting spot in Milan’s line-up to face Torino on Sunday.

The 17-year-old troubled striker Niang scored twice in Milan’s seniors against Primavera training match. In addition, rising star Stephan El Shaarawy netted a hat-trick.

As for Strasser, who has been injured most of the season, he may be given a slight chance to feature as Pescara have reportedly lined up a January loan move for the 22-year-old.

The latest reports suggest that Ignazio Abate, who is fit for the Sunday game, may replace recently injured Guinean ace Kevin Constant. Furthermore, former Fiorenitina midfielder Riccardo Montolivo will definitely miss the Torino clash.

  1. Amazing goals by Henty, for Primavera, and Niang. I need t pay more attention to this boy Henty…

And control your teen hormones… Niang will play sooner. Do not forget that he is only 17 and in the beginning of last season El 92, so a 19y.o. boy, played more in the Primavera than the first team. In December 2011 I read an incredible number of reports about his imminent return to Genoa last January.

Try to count how many 17y.o. players were benched last Serie A round. Probably only Niang…

    Be patient.

    • Right. I definitely agree…
Well, I’m not saying that Niang should become a starter right away, but few minutes on the pitch would be enough. He should have played against Torino, at least the last 15-20 minutes…
Now if Allegri doesn’t let Gabriel and Niang play against Reggina, I’m going to get really mad 😀
