Sampdoria’s Midfielder Andrea Poli Tied To Milan


The former Inter ace to team up with Italy national team friends…

According to Calciomercato, Milan have secured the signature of Sampdoria’s midfielder Andrea Poli for next term, as he is set to sign a four-year contract worth €6,5 million.

The 23-year-old’s move to the Rossoneri is going to be imminent, just after the international duty comes to an end. Whilst, it is the fee which is about to be paid on few installments. In addition, Milan have been offered the chance to sign Spanish midfielder Pedro Obiang during the entire first season of Poli’s contract.

Poli, who has also featured for rival Inter, is expected to start for Italy against San Marino tonight at 21:00 CET.

Shall this happen, yet another former Inter player, Jonathan Biabiany, who is currently co-owned between Sampdoria and Parma could team up with Andrea Poli and Pedro Obiang. Also, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan are seriously thinking about recruiting Torino winger Alessio Cerci, after CEO Adriano Galliani has set up a future meeting with the Turn-based side officials.

In the meantime, it it now certain that Alberto Paloschi will spend another season at Chievo after the Rossoneri agreed to renew the striker’s co-ownership agreement.
