The Czech rising star could leave Germany earlier than expected…
According to calciomercato.com, Milan are keeping close tabs on Freiburg’s midfielder Vladimir Darida.
The 23-year-old Czech international scored a tremendous goal against Nuremberg with only four minutes spent on the field. He had also managed to score on three occasions featuring for his previous side Viktoria Plzen during the pre-season as well as a Europa League brace against Estoril.
He has already attracted the interest of a host of German clubs – such as Borussia Dortmund and Schalke – with Milan the latest side to join the race. The Rossoneri are believed to be willing to offload talents M’Baye Niang and Riccardo Saponara in January and could look to add the Czech to the roster.
It is believed that Darida, who plays both as an attacking midfielder and second striker, could be available for approximately €7 million.
Before joining the Mage Solar’s side in August, he played three years for Viktoria Plzen to score nine goals in 55 appearances and was also included in the Czech squad for the Euro 2012 tournament.
