Hellas Verona Midfielder Jorginho On Verge Of Milan Move

San Siro side may secure the signature of another talented Serie B star…

Milan have opened talks with Serie B Hellas Verona for attacking midfielder Jorginho.

Sky Italia says that the Italian giants want to wrap up an immediate deal for the 21 year-old, wary of rival interest from Premier League outfit Arsenal. Verona are reportedly demanding €4 million for a co-ownership deal.

The youngster has impressed so far this season hence playing in a deep central midfield position. As a result, Milan scouts were in the stands to see him in action against Reggina last week.

Brazilian-born Jorge Luiz Frello owns an EU passport, after being given Italian citizenship in October 2012. He reportedly had an Italian grandfather born in Lusiana, in the province of Vicenza.

Jorginho, who is part of Italy’s U-21 team,  joined Hellas in 2008.

  1. If he’s good as the media are claiming, then Uncle Fester shoukd wrap up the deal. But if we are going to be signing 20/21 years players from Serie B team, we need to give our primavera or those out on loan doing well chance.
Keep up the good work Martina.
